Overview
Aroundu Social is a web app inspired by YikYak, allowing users to post and interact with others based on their location. The app integrates real-time DMs, AI moderation, advanced admin tools, and multiple features to enhance user engagement and community safety.

User Interaction
Users can post text and multiple images, upvote and downvote posts and comments, and comment on posts. Each post and comment includes a report button for moderation. Profiles display user post and comment history, and online status is visible across the platform.

Real-Time Messaging
The DM system allows users to send messages and photos in real-time. Messages and media include reporting features. Online/offline indicators are displayed with green and grey dots respectively.

Admin and Moderation
Admins can view all posts, reported content, and new account registrations. They can delete posts, ban users for customizable durations, and resolve issues manually. An AI content moderator, powered by Azure AI, automatically flags inappropriate content for review by the moderation team.

Authentication and Security
The app provides secure signup and login with email and phone verification. Password reset and account validation ensure user security. Only verified users can participate, reducing spam and malicious activity.

Additional Features
The Super Admin can view detailed logs and graphs to monitor the performance of the moderation team. They can track each moderator’s working hours, and the web app automatically detects inactivity if a moderator leaves the screen open without performing actions. Moderators have the ability to block users either temporarily or permanently. Additional features include feed sorting by 'New' or 'Hot/Top', automatic upvotes for users' own posts, a real-time notifications tab, and a fully responsive design optimized for both desktop and mobile devices.

Development Role
As the Full-stack Developer, I built and enhanced the platform using the MERN stack, implemented real-time messaging with Socket.io, integrated AI-powered content moderation, and designed the responsive frontend with Next.js and Tailwind CSS. I also developed the admin panel, authentication system, and all additional user-facing features to ensure a seamless experience.
