Overview

Wisedealing is an innovative platform designed to make online shopping simpler and more efficient. By aggregating deals, discounts, coupons, and promo codes from popular e-commerce websites like Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, eBay, and Woot, users can quickly find the best offers without visiting multiple websites.

Vision

Wisedealing was created with the vision of providing a one-stop destination for online deals. The goal is to simplify shopping by offering a comprehensive and constantly updated database of deals from multiple retailers.

Backend System

I developed a robust backend system that continuously fetches, categorizes, and standardizes product and deal data from various retailers. This data is saved in the database and updated daily to ensure users always access the latest deals. The backend is built using Node.js and Express.js, with serverless functions and Node NLP for automated product categorization.

Frontend Experience

The frontend, built with Next.js and styled using Tailwind CSS, enables users to search or browse products by name, brand, category, or store. A key feature is the multisearch, which allows real-time searches across multiple websites simultaneously, helping users compare prices and find the best deals efficiently.

Development Role

As the Full-stack Developer, I managed both frontend and backend development. I created the backend to fetch thousands of products at once, categorize them with a custom Node NLP model, and store them in a standardized format. The frontend ensures seamless user interaction, fast searches, and easy navigation.

User Interaction

Users can browse or search products by category, brand, or name. I focused on designing a smooth system architecture, integrating features efficiently, and optimizing the platform for both performance and user experience.
